The Legend of Pinkimus Prime

So you know how you'll be trawling the DA, and suddenly there will be something so random, so insane, that you wonder what in blazes the artist/writer could possibly have been thinking to even come up with that idea? And then you'll read the Artist's Comments, and INVARIABLY, it will say something like, "My friends and I were doing this RP, in which [something totally bizarre happened which should never even have been allowed into the civilized world]." These posts also seem to frequently include a phrase about how deeply they love their loony RP.

Well... this would definitely be one of those things.
And yes, I love Pink Prime like I love my own arm. I HAD to draw this. It was FUNNY!!!

What? OF COURSE I'm going to tell you the story! It's part and parcel of the whole deal - infect the world with a depraved image, THEN TELL THE STORY BEHIND IT, for Even Greater Infamy!!!!! Muahahahahahahahahahahahaha--*cough, hack, gasp*--ha!

So... [introductory harp music]
One day, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe conned Optimus Prime into manning [meching?] the Kissing Booth at a Saint Patty's Day charity benefit fair. This experience was fairly traumatic for him, as he was not accustomed to "selling his virtue" for $5. At the end of the day, hoping to relax, he patronized Sunstreaker's body-art booth for a quick buff-up... and it went on from there. Prime, in rebellion at always having to be the Serious and Responsible Leader, decided in a fit of fey to have Sunny paint him PINK. With TEAL FLAMES. Prime figured it'd be worth it just to watch the Decepticons all gape at his appearance, and maybe their discomfiture would give the Autobots a handy extra nano-klik or two to get a few more shots off. And he was sick and tired of the way Megatron always seemed to know what he'd do before he did it. To really get the drop on Megatron - to really shock him to his core... Ahhh - that would be bliss!

So Prime was repainted - much to Sunstreaker's chagrin - and along about then, Megatron returned from the pub, to the booth he had been manning: The Dunk Tank. Oh, yesss. He'd previously hurled a mocking challenge to Optimus that if Prime could dunk him, he'd buy whatever Prime was selling. And suddenly, Prime could think of no better way to completely boggle Megatron than to show up in his new pink glory and plant a big solid smackeroodle on his face...

Due to some lengthy circumstances involving terrifying rabid fangirls, Prime had actually climbed into the tank, directly under Megatron. When Megatron was finally dropped from his precarious perch, he fell right onto Prime... who helped him up, ripped off his faceplate, and... Well, all we can say is, "Poor Megatron!" Because, (since TFA was just coming out we had this on our minds) Prime's mouth is covered with some sort of BLUE secretion he cannot control, and the reason for the faceplate is at last revealed... as Megatron wipes his mouth in disgust.



In epilogue, I offer you this little scene from my life: I brought my coloring stuff on a campout with a large group of Live-Action-Role-Playing friends. So everyone was wearing fantasy "medieval" garb, beating each other with foam-covered weapons of various descriptions in an organized "tournament," and generally looking completely ridiculous to all passers-by. But, as one friend looked over my shoulder and saw what I was working on, he got all excited about transformers. I hadn't meant for him to see this one, but of course, out it fell. And suddenly he went very, very quiet, all enthusiasm gone. "That is just wrong." he shuddered. "That is just SO WRONG!!!" And then he backed away, muttering.
So even the LARPies think I'm weird!!
